Art Work's by Tanya of Cusan Theatre
About Tan’s work….
SPIRIT MASKS and MANDALA WOMEN
Curate con La Lluvia el Sol y el Viento….
Heal yourself with the Rain the Sun and the Wind….
The circle has no beginning and no end, the magic circle, the turning world.
A meditative and poetic way of expressing through symbolism my concern for the natural world and our world in general…
Many times I wished I was a fairy good mother with extra powers to heal and help our earth and it’s people…
I spent a lot of time out in nature and at my edible forest allotment in Harehills, working the land, planting seeds, growing plants and observing nature.
I sit under my apple tree in total bliss, making stories in my head, observing and imagining the faces of the trees and the flowers that inhabited the world that I am so involved with, listening and looking at the birds, the bees, the dragon flies and al the creatures that make our world such a magical place…
My Spirit Masks and Mandala Women are all of those feelings, colours and characters that inhabit my head and my heart, they represent positive thoughts that would heal the soul, they are about love, nature, healing and whatever you see in them that gives you hope.
We are all made of stories and they are all magic, one story at a time we are all changing the world.
I believe that art has the power to mend things and to dissolve things…
